Be Present

The older I get, the more I appreciate the simplest moments. Yesterday we drove north to an orchard about an hour away. We walked around, got coffee, tried some apple cider donuts, and just enjoyed being with each other on our day off. We didn’t even buy any pumpkins. 🤣🤷🏽‍♀️ Being fully present with my family is my favorite place to be in the entire world. 🥰 Taking time to enjoy the small stuff with the people who matter most is so important because we will never have this day again. Teddy will never be 157 days old ever again. And in the days to come, him being this age will only live in our hearts and our camera rolls. My advice to anyone reading this is to do your best to live in the NOW and to be happy in this moment in time instead of holding onto the idea that happiness is in the next place, the next stage in your career, your next relationship, etc. Embrace what’s in front of you. Because before you know it, today will be a distant memory.
